Here's a glimpse into our day:
Centers of Discovery: Children delve into various learning centers, including:
Building Zone: Blocks of all shapes and sizes encourage construction, problem-solving, and imaginative play.
Art Studio: Easels, paints, crayons, and dough inspire creative expression and fine motor development.
Dramatic Play Corner: A kitchen set, dolls, and dress-up clothes spark imaginative role-playing and social interaction.
Outdoor Adventures: Our spacious playground provides opportunities for gross motor play, exploration, and connecting with nature.
Story Time Magic: Gathering together for stories fosters a love of books and language.
Our teachers are passionate about nurturing growth through:
Intentional Engagement: Teachers actively participate in children's learning. They observe, listen, and respond to each child's needs and interests, creating engaging learning opportunities throughout the day. This includes:
Language-Rich Interactions: Conversations, songs, and stories fill the classroom, encouraging communication and vocabulary expansion.
Skill-Building Activities: Teachers introduce activities that promote cognitive, social-emotional, and physical development, like puzzles, games, and music and movement.
Child-Centered Play: Both indoor and outdoor play are designed to be child-led, with teachers providing support and guidance as needed.
Predictable Routines: Consistent daily routines, with visual aids, create a sense of security and help children feel comfortable in their environment.
This classroom provides a rich and stimulating environment where 2- to 3-year-olds can flourish, developing essential skills, exploring their creativity, and building a strong foundation for future learning.
