Our Pre-K classroom builds upon the foundational skills learned in preschool, providing a more focused and challenging learning environment designed specifically to prepare children for kindergarten. While preschool introduces children to the joys of learning through play, Pre-K takes it a step further. Children engage in more complex projects, develop deeper critical thinking skills, and strengthen their social-emotional intelligence through collaborative activities and meaningful interactions. We provide a bridge between the playful exploration of preschool and the structured learning of kindergarten, ensuring your child thrives in this important stage of their development. We support our students success in the following ways:
Preparedness and Confidence: Teachers foster a sense of readiness for kindergarten by encouraging independence, problem-solving, and a love of learning.
Engaging Exploration: Children delve deeper into hands-on activities, exploring literacy, numeracy, science, and creative arts through purposeful play.
Collaborative Learning: Group projects and interactive learning experiences promote communication, cooperation, and social responsibility.
Targeted Skill-Building: Curriculum focuses on developing critical thinking, language skills, and emotional intelligence to ensure kindergarten success.
Stimulating Environment: A well-organized space with diverse learning centers and challenging materials encourages active exploration and discovery.
*Please note: Children in this classroom must be fully potty-trained.
